Warren Barnard & Gary Rose.

A BRIEF HISTORY

1987 - Warren and Gary met whilst working for a local Mechanical & Electrical Contractor as heating engineers.
The company's primary role was in servicing & maintaining local authority & DOE term contracts on Military, Education, Corporate, Leisure &ISocial Services sites, typically for Portsmouth City Council & Hampshire County Council.
It was in this capacity that they began working at the Continental Ferry Port and the Civic Offices in Portsmouth on a reactive/call-out basis.
As the Ferry Port continued to develop and with the addition of Preventative Planned Maintenance this became a full-time position for Gary.

1991 - The company ceased to trade due to ill health on part of its directors.

It was then that Gary established a sole-trader ship to continue to supply goods & services to the Continental Ferry Port and the Civic Offices for PCC amongst others.

At this time Warren also established a sole-trader ship supplying goods & services to main contractors in the Heating, Ventilation, Gas, Oil & Plumbing services industry.

2001 - Warren & Gary formed a partnership and private limited company.

Primarily to consolidate their resources and offer a more comprehensive service to their existing client base.

2003 - Arcadia commenced a 5 year contract to provide the Plumbing & General Maintenance Service Provision for the Continental Ferry Port.

2006 - Arcadia commenced a rolling 1 year contract with Elizabeth Fitzroy Support in Petersfield to service & maintain their heating, ventilation, air handling, air conditioning & plumbing services.

2006-2010 - Arcadia commenced and completed the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year service visit as sub-contractors for KIER Facilities Services to West Berks County Council.

2008-2010 - Arcadia carried out the Oil, Gas & Mechanical maintenance servicing to part of KIER Facilities Services contract for HCC.

2010-2011 - Arcadia continues to service WBCC. We service, maintain, repair and replace natural gas, LPG & oil fired equipment for WBCC & HCC Corporate, Education, Leisure & Social services sites.

• We have commenced and completed the replacement of the 10 boilers for Portsmouth Water Company in Havant and continue to service & maintain their other properties. We also provide a reactive service for all their heating & plumbing requirements.
• We continue with the service, maintenance & reactive contract to Elizabeth Fitzroy Support including their satellite residential building.
• As sub-contractors, Arcadia continues to provide a reactive / call-out & maintenance services to WBCC, HCC, James Butcher Housing Association, PCC, SOCA & Infineum R & D Centre Abingdon amongst others to KIER Facilities Servcies.
• And to other contractors & clients we continue to provide an installation & maintenance service covering all aspects of the mechanical industry.
